Position: General Ledger Accountant
Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the General Ledger Accountant is responsible for account analysis, assisting with the weekly vouchers payable process and the monthly grant payments process, and creating the monthly payroll general ledger entry. This position is included in a collective bargaining unit represented by the International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers, Local 135.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of one year of accounting experience. Proficiency in the use of a calculator and Microsoft Office Suite with strong experience with Excel; knowledge of computerized accounting systems is required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary: $53,000 (including locality pay)
