LSC has received an appropriation of $4 million for fiscal year 2015 to fund TIG projects. In 2014, 38 TIG projects received funding with a median funding amount of $75,270. All prospective applicants for 2015 funds from the Legal Services Corporation’s (LSC) Technology Initiative Grant (TIG). Only programs that submitted a successful “Letter of Intent” (LOI) are eligible to submit a formal application.
LSC has issued the Technology Initiative Grant Program's Application Instructions for 2015 Grant Funding. These instructions outline the requirements and information needed to submit an application for TIG funding in the 2015 cycle.
A webinar covering the 2015 TIG full application process is now available. The webinar addressed requirements and key guidance for completing a TIG application.

Applicants can utilize these sample application components when preparing their funding requests. These documents are intended to provide general guidance to applicants and may not meet all requirements for the 2015 TIG cycle. Programs should review the full Application Instructions for 2015 Grant Funding before they begin drafting.
Please note that specifying a third-party contractor in your application budget does not mean that LSC approves of use of that contractor should the grant be funded. All TIG recipients are still subject to LSC's TIG contracting requirements, including rules on the competitive selection of vendors.
