LSC has received an appropriation of $4 million for fiscal year 2015 to fund TIG projects. In 2014, 38 TIG projects received funding with a median funding amount of $75,270. All prospective applicants for 2015 funds from the Legal Services Corporation’s (LSC) Technology Initiative Grant (TIG) program must submit a “Letter of Intent” (LOI) prior to submitting a formal application.
LSC has issued the Technology Initiative Grant (TIG) Program's Notice of Request for Letters of Intent to Apply for 2015 Grant Funding. This notice provides the requirements and information needed to submit a 2015 TIG letter of intent. LSC will solicit full proposals for those projects that have a reasonable chance of success in the grant competition process based on LSC’s analysis of the information provided in the letters of intent.
Organizations can submit letters of intent through the LSC Grants online system. Each project for which funding is sought should be the subject of a separate letter of intent. Only current LSC recipients can apply for TIG funding, but other interested parties may partner with an LSC program on projects.
