July 27, 2000
Good morning, everyone.
On Wednesday evening July
26, 2000, LSC Inspector General Edouard Quatrevaux issued an "Advisory to LSC
Grant Recipients" in which he somewhat erroneously describes conversations that
he has had with LSC President John McKay concerning the OIG's evaluation project
in Georgia and the use of subpoenas to obtain information for this evaluation
project from our two Georgia grantees. Rather than go into a lengthy description
of the President's conversations with the Inspector General on this issue, I
have posted on the LSC RIN a copy of President McKay's July 18, 2000 letter to
Mr. Quatrevaux.
Thank you.
