Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan's Domestic Violence Bill Becomes Law

President Trump signed into law today a bill created by Senator Dan Sullivan that will expand the current Alaska program encouraging pro bono assistance to victims of domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. Sullivan's "POWER Act" requires chief judges across the country to hold events promoting pro bono legal services for survivors. The bill passed the House with bipartisan support in July, having passed the Senate last year.
