Emergency Order Requires Wisconsin Growers to Protect Migrant Workers From COVID-19

Wisconsin growers must start implementing strong social distancing measures to protect thousands of migrant farmworkers from COVID-19. The emergency order, issued Tuesday by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, takes effect immediately.

“This order is a good first step,” said Mariah Hennen, a program manager with Legal Action of Wisconsin.
