Legal Services Alabama Standing on the Front Lines Amid COVID-19

In response to COVID-19 challenges, Legal Services Alabama expanded the capacity of its statewide call center and created a disaster relief hotline. At the same time, LSA has created daily Facebook updates for clients on the ever-changing laws. One Facebook posting on changes in the SNAP food program generated 230,000 plus hits and 1,000 plus phone calls to the LSA Call Center.
