Wisconsin Judicare, Inc. is seeking a summer intern in its office located in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Judicare , Inc. (WJ) is a non-profit law firm funded by the Legal Services Corporation, the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation and other public and private sources. WJ provides civil legal services to low-income persons in the northern 33 counties of Wisconsin, as well as Wisconsin’s 11 federally-recognized Indian Tribes.
Wisconsin Judicare’s Indian Law Office has an opening for a summer intern to work with Native American individuals and groups on a variety of issues.
(1) Assist Indian Law Office Attorneys with their cases. (2) Appear in Tribal Court on behalf of eligible clients. (3) Research relevant Indian Law Issues. (4) Participate in Indian Law office projects.
Intern must be a law student in good standing. Intern may be required to travel.
A stipend of $4,000 is available for this internship.
