The Office of Human Resources (OHR) develops and administers, in conjunction with senior management, the Corporation's human resources policies, procedures, and strategies, and provides advisory services to management and staff.
OHR is responsible for assuring that human resources practices implemented by managers are done fairly, effectively, and consistently; and in compliance with all District of Columbia and federal employment laws. OHR also develops and administers the Corporation's salary administration program, the benefits program and the performance management program.
In addition, OHR develops Corporation guidelines in the areas of equal employment opportunity, succession planning, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, orientation and training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
