Hong
Eliza Hong is an Associate Attorney in the Corporate department at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP. Prior to joining the firm, they worked as an intern for the New York City Commission on Human Rights in the Legal Bureau, as a Peggy Browning Fellow for the Chicago News Guild of the Communication Workers of America, and as a legal technologist for Josef, a legal technology company.
Eliza earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School and served as Notes Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, as well as President of the Environmental Law Society. They began Cornell’s Tenants Advocacy Program’s technology and AI component, resulting in a tenant legal rights education chatbot and presentation at the American Bar Association’s Equal Justice Conference.
Eliza received a B.A. in an independent major combining Sociology, Philosophy and Religious Studies, with distinction, as well as a minor in Conflict Resolution from Mary Baldwin University.
