LSC-funded legal aid helped more than 1.8 million Americans in 2025, providing essential civil legal services to survivors of domestic violence, consumers, veterans, seniors and families. Rising financial hardship increased demand, with consumer cases growing 13.7% and domestic violence cases increasing 5.4%, highlighting the ongoing need for accessible legal assistance.
