Rakuya K. Trice
Rakuya K. Trice is the deputy director of Indiana Legal Services, Inc. (ILS) and its director of medical-legal partnerships. She oversees the development and operation of ILS’ new and existing MLPs. Before her current role, she was the first directing attorney of ILS’ Central Indiana medical-legal partnership project team and ran a successful medical-legal partnership project with a regional health system. She is a 2024 Indiana Lawyer Leadership-in-Law honoree and a 2024 IPHA Public Health Hero.

Dr. Stan Sonu
Dr. Stan Sonu is an Associate Professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as the Medical Director for Child Advocacy at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; in this role, he oversees programming for Strong 4 Life and helps manage the Health-Law Partnership, an interprofessional medical-legal collaborative addressing health-harming legal issues.
