The Legal Services Corporation’s (LSC) Disaster Task Force held an event marking the release of its report on Wednesday, March 4 at the Louisiana Supreme Court. The Task Force Report offers recommendations on how legal services providers can collaborate with outside partners to help vulnerable communities prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas announces changes to some locations
Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas has closed offices in six locations and their related counties—Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, McKinney, Waxahachie, and Weatherford—through March 27 to the public in response to Gov. Greg Abbott’s state of disaster declaration.
In-office appointments will only be scheduled on an as-needed basis. All clinics and outreach events also are suspended through March 27. The remaining offices and their related counties remain open to the public.Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas announces changes to some locations
